After a wet start to Tuesday across Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas, mostly clear skies and mild conditions have returned for the afternoon and evening. Mostly sunny days and above average temperatures will prevail through the rest of this week, as a steady warming trend takes hold of the region promoting the return of summer-like heat.

Increasing clouds Monday afternoon will give way to spotty rain and t-storms chances overnight and into Tuesday. Dry skies and sunshine return later in the week, accompanied by a steady warming trend as above average temperatures build across the region.

A stretch of mild weather continues in the St. Joseph region with a slight chance of rain Monday, followed by warming temperatures and a return to above-average heat by the weekend.

Mild afternoons, cool nights, and mostly clear skies continue across Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas through the weekend. Below average temperatures will give way to a warming trend starting early next week, and a chance of spotty showers and thunderstorms. 

A cold front brought unseasonably cool temperatures to Missouri, but a warming trend with sunshine is expected through the weekend, with rain possible early next week.

Mostly clear and hazy conditions Thursday will give way to increasing clouds and a slight chance of thunder showers early Friday, as a cold front sweeps across the region bringing a reinforcing shot of below average temperatures to last through the weekend.

Spotty shower and thunderstorm chances will continue across Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas Wednesday evening, as a cold front passes through the region.

Mild and mainly dry conditions Tuesday afternoon will give way to a brief warm-up and scattered t-storm chances Wednesday afternoon and evening. A few storms may contain sizable hail and damaging winds, especially south of the Highway 36 corridor through Wednesday night.

After several days of rain, drier and cooler weather is returning to northwest Missouri and northeast Kansas, with a chance of storms by Wednesday.

Scattered rain and cooler temperatures will continue through midweek in the St. Joseph region, with a brief warm-up and drier conditions expected by the weekend.

Cooler-than-average temperatures, persistent clouds, and scattered rain will dominate the St. Joseph region through midweek, with some areas potentially seeing over an inch of rainfall before drier, milder weather returns by the weekend.

Seasonably warm and dry conditions will continue across Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas Friday and much of Saturday, before rain chances increase Sunday and Labor Day as a low pressure system slowly tracks across the region.

Warm sunny afternoons and cool clear nights will make for a fair end to the work week and start to the weekend. Periods of cloud cover and slight rain chances are slated to return Sunday and into Labor day with temperatures remaining mild. 

Despite increasing cloud coverage and a slim chance of showers, mainly dry and mild conditions will persist across Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas Wednesday night and Thursday. Below average temperatures will also continue through mid to late week, before a modest warming trend sets up for the start of Labor Day weekend.

Warm days, cool nights, and mainly dry conditions will continue across Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas for the next several days as below average temperatures persist and rain chances remain slim to none.
