Tracking frost potential, cool and dry mid-week

Sunny and windy conditions remain in place across the region Tuesday afternoon following Monday’s cold front. Clear skies and lighter winds tonight will set the stage for chilly temperatures, with lows following into the mid to upper 30s. A Frost Advisory has been issued for parts of far Northwest Missouri north of Highway 36 from 3 A.M. to 9 A.M. Wednesday. Cold sensitive vegetation should be protected in the advisory area. Patchy frost will be possible once again Wednesday night and early Thursday morning.

Cool and dry conditions will prevail Wednesday and Thursday, before increasing cloud coverage and rain chances return Thursday night and Friday.
