Tracking scattered t-storms, cooler days ahead

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue across Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas Friday afternoon and evening as a cold front passes through the area. Toasty temperatures will slowly cool by Saturday with partly sunny skies and a slight chance of showers. A second shot of cooler and drier air arrives Sunday, bringing the welcome return of seasonable fall conditions.

Friday evening: Partly cloudy, 40% showers and t-storms before 10 PM. Gusty winds and small hail possible. Lows falling to near 60 degrees. Southwest winds 15-20 mph. - Saturday: Partly cloudy, 20% stray showers. Highs in the mid to upper 70s. West winds at 15 to 20 mph. - Sunday: Mostly sunny, cool and dry. Highs in the mid 60s.
