Tracking late-week warmth, t-storm chances Friday
Despite lingering clouds and spotty showers across parts of Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas today, temperatures have warmed well above average with highs reaching the 80s. Clearing skies tonight make way for a mostly sunny, warm, and breezy Thursday- with highs once again reaching the 80s. Much of Friday will remain unseasonably warm, before a cold front pushes into the region bringing t-storm chances by Friday evening and much cooler air for the weekend.
A few storms could produce gusty winds and small hail late Friday, although widespread severe weather is not anticipated locally.
