Tracking spotty rain chances, mild days and cool nights

Sunshine, passing clouds, and dry skies Friday afternoon will give way to spotty rain chances overnight, as the first of several disturbances tracks across Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas. Scattered, low-impact rain chances and mild temperatures will continue through the weekend and early next week as a seasonable but active early fall pattern persists across the region.

Sunshine and low 80s Friday afternoon will be followed by increasing clouds for the evening and a 20% - 30% chance of isolated showers after sunset and overnight lows in the mid to low 60s. Periods of cloud cover, peaks of sunshine and a 40% chance of spotty t-showers continues Saturday, with afternoon highs in the mid to upper 70s. Another slight chance of showers arrives Sunday, with widespread rain more likely along and south of I-70. Highs Sunday afternoon will warm to near 80 degrees with sun and clouds.
