Tracking lingering heat, scattered t-storm chances

Lingering heat and isolated t-storm chances will continue across Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas Tuesday afternoon and evening, before better chances for showers and t-storms develop mid to late week.

Partly sunny skies, a 30% chance of isolated t-storms, and temperatures in the low 90s Tuesday afternoon will give way to a mild and mainly dry night with lows in the mid to upper 60s and a 20% chance of stray t-storms. Wednesday brings periods of cloud cover and a 40% chance of scattered showers and t- storms, especially for the afternoon, with highs in the mid 80s. Partly to mostly cloudy skies and a 60% chance of showers and t-storms arrives Thursday, with highs near 80 degrees.
