Tracking lingering t-storm chances, mid-week sunshine

Scattered thunderstorm chances will linger across Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas Monday afternoon and overnight, before a warming and drying trend take place through the middle of the work week.

Partly cloudy skies and a 60% chance of showers and t-storms continues this evening, with overnight lows falling well into the 70s. Cloudy skies will stick around early Tuesday with a 20% chance of isolated morning showers, before sunshine returns by the afternoon with highs in the low to mid 80s. Sunshine will prevail Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday along with a warming trend as highs climb into the mid to upper 80s and eventually low 90s.
