Tracking slight rain chances, steady warming trend
Below average temperatures and periods of cloud cover have made for a quiet and comfortable Sunday across Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas. Aside from a chance of sprinkles Sunday afternoon and evening, conditions will remain dry overnight with lows falling well into the 60s and light easterly breezes. A slow warming trend will develop Monday with afternoon highs near 80s degrees, partly sunny skies, and a 20% chance of isolated afternoon t-showers. A stretch of dry, mostly sunny, and warmer days is forecast starting Tuesday, as seasonable conditions return to the region. High temperatures in the mid to upper 80s will once again become the norm, with 90s possible by the later half of next week.
