Tracking spotty t-storm chances, continuing heat

After a round of thunderstorms early Tuesday morning, partly sunny skies and dry conditions have returned to Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas for the afternoon. Skies will remain dry through Tuesday evening, with light winds, and overnight lows falling into the upper 60s after midnight. Wednesday will bring partly to mostly sunny skies, and afternoon heat as highs reach the upper 80s to low 90s with a 20% chance of stray t-storms. Low t-storm chances, and hot humid conditions will continue Thursday, before widespread chances for thunderstorm activity return Friday. A slight cool-off is in the cards following thunderstorms on Friday, with highs on Saturday forecast to run in the low 80s, several degrees below average!
