Tracking toasty temperatures, isolated t-storm chances

Toasty June temperatures and isolated t-storm chances will continue across Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas through the end of the work week, with afternoon highs running near to above average and just enough moisture to keep spotty rain in the forecast. Partly sunny skies and a 20% chance of t-showers will linger Wednesday afternoon and early evening, with low 90s giving way to 70s and upper 60s overnight. Partly cloudy conditions will continue Thursday, with increasing clouds through the afternoon, highs in the mid 80s, and a 20% chance of spotty t-showers. A repeat performance is in the forecast on Friday, with periods of cloud cover, minimal rain chances, and highs in the mid 80s. Less in the way of rain chances and more sunshine is on tap for the weekend, allowing temperature to warm into the upper 80s to near 90 degrees Saturday and Sunday.
