Tracking spotty rain chances; weekend sunshine

Spotty rain chances will linger across Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas Thursday evening and Friday, before dry and mostly sunny conditions prevail this weekend. Partly cloudy skies and a 20% chance of stray t-showers continues Thursday evening, with northwest breezes at 10 to 15 mph. Overnight lows will fall into the low to mid 50s after midnight, with mainly dry conditions and light winds. Another round of isolated to scattered showers and t-storms will develop Friday morning and into the afternoon. Rain chances will run between 30% and 40% through much of Friday, with partly cloudy skies and afternoon highs in the low to mid 60s. Decreasing clouds will give way to mostly sunny skies on Saturday and Sunday. Temperatures will rise through the weekend as well, from 60s on Saturday to the low 70s by Sunday afternoon.
