Tracking mid-week rain chances

Mild and dry conditions Tuesday evening will give way to increasing clouds and returning rain chances Wednesday and Thursday, as moisture streams back into the area. Temperatures Tuesday night will fall into the mid to low 50s late, with a 20% chance of showers after midnight easterly breezes, and mostly cloudy skies. Clouds will linger on Wednesday, with a 60% chance of showers and embedded thunderstorms through the day. Highs Wednesday will reach the mid to upper 60s with southeast winds at 5 to 10 mph. Periods of rain will continue Wednesday night and into the first half of Thursday as a low pressure system passes through the region. Partly to mostly sunny skies will return Friday, with a slight chance of stray showers lingering across the area. Rain chances taper off and sunshine prevails as we head into the weekend.
