Kelsie’s banana bread recipe

This treat is full of banana-y goodness.
Banana bread
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt
¾ brown sugar
2 eggs beaten
2 ½ cups mashed bananas (4-5 bananas)
Preheat oven to 350 F. Lightly grease a 9”x5” loaf pan.
In a large bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt. In a separate bowl cream together the butter and brown sugar. Stir in the eggs and mashed bananas until well blended. Stir banana mixture into flour mixture until it’s moistened. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
Bake in the pre-heated oven for 60-65 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let bread cool for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack.
This is an easy and delicious way to use overripe bananas. The bread freezes well, too.
