Tracking hot and stormy start to the week

To start off your week, skies this morning are dry with a few clouds, but additional cloud cover is expected over the next few hours. It will be humid today, with dew points in the mid to upper 60s. Afternoon highs will be in the upper 80s, but it will feel more like the low 90s.
Later this afternoon and evening, there is a chance for showers and thunderstorms in our area. A few storms could be on the stronger side, as we are under a marginal risk for severe weather. Stronger storms could produce wind gusts up to 50 mph.
Tonight, another round of showers and thunderstorms is possible, and a few could be strong as well. Overnight lows will remain warm, in the upper 60s.
Tomorrow, there is another chance for showers and thunderstorms throughout the day. Temperatures are expected to reach the mid-80s, with light winds.
As we head into midweek, conditions are expected to become drier, but temperatures will remain hot.
