Tracking spotty rain chances for Wednesday and Thursday; warm and sunny for the end of the week.

Mild and dry conditions will remain across Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas Tuesday evening, before spotty rain chances return Wednesday as a low pressure system spreads moisture into the region. Partly sunny skies early Tuesday evening will give way to mostly cloudy skies late, with overnight lows falling into the mid to upper 50s after midnight and light easterly breezes. Cloudy conditions will prevail on Wednesday, with a 20% chance of morning showers and a 40% chance of afternoon t-showers. The highest rain chances are forecast to remain south of Highway 36 Wednesday afternoon and evening. Despite chances for rain and widespread clouds, high temperatures Wednesday will rise into the low 70s with light easterly breezes through the day. Partly to mostly cloudy skies will linger on Thursday, with a 20% chance of isolated showers and highs in the low 70s. A quieter pattern will settle into the Central Plains starting Friday, promoting several days of sunshine and a steady warming trend through the weekend.
