Tracking a warm and dry weekend

Dry skies and mild air will make for a pleasant weekend, before rain chances return to start next week. Temperatures will warm into the upper 70s and low 80s through the weekend, approximately 5 to 10 degrees above average. Cooler air will accompany rain chances and cloud coverage early next week as highs fall into the upper 60s to low 70s.

Sunshine and low 80s Friday afternoon will give way to clear skies and a steady cool-off overnight with lows near 50 degrees and light winds. Saturday remains dry with periods of sunshine, passing clouds, and highs in the mid to upper 70s. Warmer air arrives Sunday afternoon as highs reach the low to mid 80s with partly sunny skies and a 20% chance of showers after sunset. Rain chances and cloud coverage increase Monday as a system passes through the region, promoting cooler temperatures through the middle of next week.
