Tracking lingering showers, warm and dry late-week

Cool, cloudy and damp conditions continue across Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas Tuesday evening as a low pressure system slowly pushes through the region. Spotty rain chances and cloudy skies linger early Wednesday, before a mostly sunny and warmer pattern returns late-week.

Overcast skies and low 70s Tuesday afternoon will give way to overnight lows in the 60s with rain chances at 40% - 60%. Mostly cloudy skies and a 30% chance of showers lingers Wednesday morning, before things dry out later in the day as peaks of sunshine return- highs will reach the low to mid 70s.

Mostly sunny and dry days return Thursday and into the weekend, with afternoon highs rising into the low to mid 80s as warmer air builds into the region.
