Tracking spotty light showers and chilly temperatures: weekend sunshine

This morning, a few spotty and light showers began in far northwest Missouri. Through the morning and lunchtime, spotty light showers are possible. The heaviest rainfall will remain south of Highway 36. After showers pass, mostly to partly cloudy skies will stick around. A northwest wind will help it feel cooler today, with highs in the upper 60s. Tonight, skies will start to clear, and temperatures will drop to the mid-40s, well below average for overnight lows this time of year.

Saturday, lots of sunshine is expected with a few passing clouds. It will be mild, and temperatures will be warmer than today, with highs in the low 70s. Tomorrow night’s low will be in the upper 40s, making for another chilly night and start to Sunday. Sunday will be a copy-and-paste day with highs in the mid-70s. Early next week, showers and thunderstorms are possible.
