Tracking a hot start to the week and multiple chances for showers

Toasty temperatures continue this afternoon. Conditions will stay mostly dry into the evening, though there is a slight chance for showers and thunderstorms. Most of the shower activity is trending northeast of our area. Overnight lows will drop to the mid-60s.

Tomorrow morning, skies will be dry and cloudy. Highs will climb into the upper 80s and low 90s, as late-summer heat continues. There is a 30% chance for showers and thunderstorms through the afternoon and evening, but they should remain non-severe.

By Wednesday, temperatures will be a little more comfortable with highs in the mid-80s. Showers are likely both Wednesday and Thursday.
