Tracking a hazy morning along with a cooler and mostly dry pattern

This morning, skies will be hazy as wildfire smoke trickles in from the north. More blue sky should return later this afternoon as a southerly wind pushes the smoke back to the north. Skies will stay dry throughout the day, with afternoon highs in the mid-70s, making it pleasant before dropping to the mid-50s tonight.

A quick-moving cold front will pass through late tonight and into Friday morning, bringing a 10-20% chance of showers along the front. After it passes, we will remain dry and temperatures will cool down to the upper 60s. Skies will remain dry for tomorrow night and temperatures will fall to the mid-40s, making a for jacket weather to start Saturday morning.

This weekend lots of sunshine is expected and temperatures will be mild as highs will be in the mid 70s.
