This morning, it’s muggy but dry across our skies. Temperatures are warm to start, in the low 70s. It will be toasty today with highs in the low 80s. Expect plenty of sunshine with a few passing clouds. Humidity will be a little lower than recent days, with dew points in the mid to upper 60s. Winds will be light out of the northeast. Tonight, skies will be mostly clear and temperatures will drop into the mid-60s, a nice relief from recent warm overnight lows.

On Thursday, skies will stay mostly sunny and dry, with highs in the mid-80s, which is near average for mid-August. Humidity will be slightly lower, with dew points in the low to mid-60s, and by late week the air will feel even drier. Overnight lows will fall into the low 60s.

Friday will stay dry through the day, with highs in the upper 80s. As a cold front approaches, our next chance for showers and thunderstorms arrives late Friday into Saturday.
