Tracking mostly dry and warmer days ahead

This morning is nice and cool, with temperatures in the low 60s. Conditions will warm up this afternoon, with highs reaching the mid-80s, slightly below average for this time of year. It will be a very pleasant day, with light winds out of the southeast. Tonight will remain dry, and temperatures will dip into the mid-60s, still cool, but slightly warmer than last night.
Tomorrow brings a low-end chance for showers and thunderstorms. If storms hold together, they could produce gusty winds, but they are expected to remain non-severe. It will be warmer, with highs in the upper 80s, which is near average for early August.
Later this week, mostly dry conditions continue, with highs climbing into the low 90s for both Thursday and Friday under mostly sunny skies. By the weekend, temperatures will cool slightly, and there will be a chance for showers across the area.
