Today, the smoky haze from Canadian wildfires will start to clear, giving way to mostly sunny skies. Temperatures will warm up to the upper 80s once again, making it feel like summer for our afternoon highs. Tonight, after midnight, we will start to see a chance for strong storms in our area.

Starting early tomorrow morning, there will be multiple rounds of strong to severe storms that could produce damaging winds and sizeable hail. Flash flooding is also possible, with rainfall totals of up to 1 to 3 inches. Temperatures will start out warm, but as the cold front passes, they will cool down to the mid- to upper 60s by the afternoon.

Multiple chances of rain and thunderstorms will continue throughout the week.
