Today we will have overcast skies with a chance of showers and thunderstorms in our area. We will stay mostly dry through the morning and lunchtime. By the afternoon, there is a 50% chance of showers with embedded thunderstorms. Temperatures will remain mild, reaching the upper 60s. Winds will be light from the southeast, sustaining between 5 and 10 mph. Tonight, there is still a 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms. Lows will drop into the mid-50s.

Tomorrow, there is another chance of periods of showers and thunderstorms in our area. Despite the cloud cover and rain, temperatures will rise into the low 70s, which is near-average for this time of year. Winds will be breezy from the northwest, sustaining between 10 and 15 mph.

By Friday, there is a slight chance of showers, but once they pass, sunshine will prevail. That sunshine is expected to continue into the weekend.
