One injured in crash near Belt Entertainment

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (News-Press NOW) — Local police, fire and EMS crews responded to a crash Friday along North Belt Highway.

The crash happened around 2 p.m. Friday as the driver of a Dodge Ram truck took a left turn onto the roadway and collided with a Kia SUV.

The southbound lanes of the Belt Highway near Belt Entertainment were temporarily congested as emergency crews worked the scene.

The driver of the Dodge was taken to a hospital to for moderate injuries.
