St. Joseph man charged with felony sodomy

Local authorities arrested a 51-year-old St. Joseph man on Friday on a felony warrant for statutory sodomy.

Timothy Edward Brown, 51, was detained by St. Joseph Police shortly after 3 p.m. on one charge of statutory sodomy/attempted statutory sodomy of a person less than 14 years old.

Brown is currently being held without bond at the Buchanan County Jail.

Brown’s initial appearance is scheduled for Feb. 13 at the Buchanan County Courthouse.

Police are encouraging anyone with further information on Brown to contact the department.
