It needs to stop

It's been reported that Trump is giving billionaire and mega donor Peter Thiel and his company Palantir millions of dollars to collect personal information on Americans. Authoritarians attack, prosecute and punish citizens they perceive as enemies. This collection and use of everyone's private data to attack us is a huge danger to every American and it needs to stop. 

Here we go again

Here we go again, St. Joe. We're spending money on stuff that shouldn't even be happening. A new shopping center north of town. The amphitheater. We're painting Civic Arena, which is a dead horse. We in St. Joe, or I don't say “we,” but there are several in this town that like spending the money and then tightening up the reins on the people who live paycheck to paycheck or on an income where they just barely make it by. But St. Joe good old boys, they want to keep spending that money. 

A great idea

What a wonderful deal. A multimillion-dollar Krug Park renovation for a park that only makes money during Christmas with the Christmas lights, maybe make a little money off those picnic tables. But yet we don't have a decent dog pound for our animals. Isn't that wonderful? 

Strange priorities

This is on priorities. You know, it's pretty sad here in the state of Missouri when they're more worried about the Kansas City Chiefs than they are people going hungry, being homeless, needing mental health help. They're more worried about that football stadium down there than they are anybody else.
