Teem, Don 1937-2025 St. Joseph, Mo.

Donnie “Don” Carl Teem, 87, St. Joseph, passed away Sunday evening, Sept. 7, 2025, at his home. Born Nov. 18, 1937, in St. Joseph, to Carl and Lucille Teem and elder brother to Dennis Teem.
Following graduating from Central High School, he served in the United States Army. He worked life long as a truck grain dealer, starting off delivering produce, then working with his brother until his retirement.
He was a loving son and adored brother. Although he never married or had children of his own, he became a second father and grandfather to his nieces. He loved them as if they were his own. He brought love and light, smiles, laughs and wisdom to those closest to him. The endless cookies and ice cream. The memories and unconditional support and love.
Don loved his Royals and Chiefs games, his puzzles and Sudoku games, his trips to Branson, Florida and Tennessee, his outdoor porches, the train rides, the card games, the old Westerns.
There was only one Don Teem. The world lost a light. Heaven gained a star.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Lucille Teem; and great-niece, Harley Marie Teem.
He is survived by his brother, Dennis Teem; nephews, Craig (Heidi) Teem, Todd (Dorinda) Teem, Roger (Roselyne) Teem and Scott (Gabi) Teem; nieces and nephews, Ashley, Shelby, Phoebe, Tyler, Kylie, Alex, Cole and Sophie; and numerous great-great-nieces and nephews.
