Barbara Ann Klima, 73, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 7, 2024. She was born in Norfolk, Nebraska, on Oct. 30, 1950, to Joseph and Luella (Wittler) Klima.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ, St. Joseph Restoration Branch, and loved to read her scriptures and testimonies of God’s faithfulness.

Barbara was a kind, compassionate friend, always willing to lend a helping hand and was quick to give the Lord Jesus the credit, with a big smile and a twinkle in her eyes. She also helped many families as Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for Child Support for six counties in northwest Missouri.

She was preceded by her parents; brother-in-law, William “Terry” Teeslink and sister-in-law, Mary Jo Klima.

Surviving her passing are “the kids,” her sweet, spunky terriers, Barney and Bella; sisters, Susan Klima and Shirley Teeslink; brothers, Jerry Klima and Joe (Patricia) Klima, all of Nebraska; nieces, nephews, and numerous friends.

A memorial service will be held in her honor, April 6, 2024, at the Church of Jesus Christ, St. Joseph Restoration Branch, 1427 Jules St., St. Joseph, at 10 a.m. All are welcome to attend. As published in the St. Joseph News-Press.
