Lonnie “Max” Brownlee, 69, of St. Joseph, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2024, at his home. He was born June 6, 1954, in St. Joseph, son of Agnes and Lonnie Brownlee. Max enjoyed old western shows, 50’s music and an ice cold beer.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Joyce Embrey; brother, Roy Brownlee; and an infant sibling.

Survivors include sister, Kay Roberts, of St. Joseph; sister-in-law, Jo Ann Brownlee, of St. Joseph; several nieces and nephews and a host of caretakers who all who were dear to Max.

Graveside Service will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday at Rupp Funeral Home.
