Puckett, Hubert 1943-2025 Rockaway Beach, Mo.

ROCKAWAY BEACH, Mo. – Hubert “Bud” Puckett, 82, Rockaway Beach, Missouri, passed away Oct. 6, 2025, surrounded by his loving family at his home. He was born July 16, 1943, in Bolckow, Missouri, to Ralph and Lena (Mozingo) Puckett.

Bud married Sharon Pfleiderer on July 8, 1961. She survives of the home.

He enjoyed fishing, old western shows, KC Chiefs, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He retired after 37 years from Wire Rope Corp as a supervisor.

He was preceeded in death by his parents; grandchildren, Scotty Puckett and Mark Puckett; seven brothers; and four sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon; children, Susan (Eddie) Waller, Rick Puckett, Scott (Jennifer) Puckett, Mark Puckett (Mindy); numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Jerry, Raymond; sisters, Connie, Joyce; and several other extended family members.

Private family gathering have been scheduled for Oct. 9 at Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory in Branson, Missouri. As published in the St. Joseph News-Press.
