Ginn, Leonard T. 1956-2025 St. Joseph, Mo.

Leonard Theodore Ginn, 69, of St. Joseph, passed away Monday, Sept. 29, 2025, at a St. Joseph health care facility. He was born Feb. 7, 1956, in St. Joseph, son of Elaine and Leonard Miller.

Leonard worked in Maintenance for several area housing complexes prior to his early retirement due to health complications. He was a member of Tes Trams Club and Holsey Chapel ICM.

Leonard was preceded in death by son, Joseph Wayne Lee, and his parents.

Survivors include children, Matthew Barr (Jessica) of St Joseph, Josh Hughes, of St. Joseph, Leslie (Rudy) Morrow, of St. Petersburg, Florida, Chris Mason, of St. Joseph, and Leonard Barr of St. Joseph; his twin sister, Leona Jackson, of St. Joseph; aunt, Elatha Nunley, of St. Joseph; niece, Regina Ginn, of St. Joseph; and several grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2025, at Rupp Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. on Wednesday. Pastor Mary McDonald, officiating. The Interment will follow at Mount Auburn Cemetery.
