Campbell, Dick A. 1938-2025 St. Joseph, Mo.

Dick A. Campbell, 86, of St. Joseph, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2025, at his home. He was born Dec. 16, 1938, in Fort Lupton, Colorado, son of Francis and Clem Campbell.
Dick graduated from Ft. Lupton High School class of 1956. On July 9, 2011, he married Sabrina Davis in New Orleans, Louisiana. Dick worked for Carnation Can, and retired from Friskies Pet Food, as a supervisor. He enjoyed collecting die cast cars, shooting guns, and traveling, especially to New Orleans. He also loved getting together with family and friends. Dick was a proud member of the Cherokee Nation.
Dick was preceded in death by his parents; daughters, Denise Burns and Diane Campbell; and son, Denille Campbell; and siblings, Clem Jr., Billie Jo, Delora, and Mary Lou.
Survivors include: wife, Sabrina Campbell of the home; children, Dave (Valerie) Campbell, of Springfield, Missouri, Paul Davis, of St. Joseph, Cassandra (Allen) Henley, of Savannah, Missouri, Michael (Rachel) Copeland, of St. Joseph, Sean (Melynda) Barnett, of Gower, Missouri; brother, Robert D. (Lynda) Campbell, of Colorado; daughter-in-law, Deb Campbell of Pella, Iowa; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Mr. Campbell has been cremated under the care of Rupp Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2025, at the Rupp Funeral Home. The family would like to thank Mosaic Hospice for the special care they provided for Dick. Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
