Ellis, Randy 1960-2025 Cosby, Mo.

COSBY, Mo. – Randy Scott Ellis, 64, of Cosby, Missouri, passed away July 18, 2025. He was born Sept. 25, 1960, in St. Joseph, son of Theodore and Janice (Sheffler) Ellis.
Randy married Mary Gier on Oct. 5, 1985, and shared 40 years together raising a family and cherishing each other. She survives in the home.
Randy was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. His love for family came first. His children and grandchildren brought him joy. He loved having family come together. His love of family extended to his siblings and other family members.
Randy had the gift of gab, humor, and compassion that everyone that knew him will dearly miss. He truly valued family and friendships. He was always available to help if possible. He stood on his values and cherished life. Fixing things and tinkering in his garage were things he enjoyed. He liked camping, fishing, and spending time around the campfire at Rochester Falls. There are no words to describe the number of lives he touched and how much all will miss him. He worked at WRDCC as a garage supervisor. Prior to working at WRDCC, he worked at Missouri Western University as a printer. He enjoyed working with all his coworkers and growing those friendships.
