Busey, David L. 1961-2025 St. Joseph, Mo.

David Lee Busey, 64, of St. Joseph, passed away Friday, July 11, 2025, at his home in St. Joseph. He was born April 25, 1961, in St. Joseph, son of the late Virginia and Gail “Doc” Busey.

He graduated from Central High School in 1979. David was an avid golfer, and even got a hole in one, which he was very proud of.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Virgil Roy Busey.

Survivors include: brothers, Nathaniel Jones, of Belton, Missouri, and Roger Allen (Diane) Busey, of Jacksonville, Florida; and two nieces, Jenna Tyndall and Heather Paris.

Graveside Inurnment service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, July 21, 2025, at the Memorial Park Cemetery.
