(Published in the St. Joseph News-Press Fri. 6/13/25) Introduction & Invitation for Developers to Submit Statement of Qualifications RFQ 25-0026 Buchanan County, Missouri is developing preliminary concepts for a developer of county-owned property located on North Pointe Drive in St. Joseph, Missouri. Interested parties must submit one original and five (5) physical copies of their corporate qualifications to the Buchanan County Commission no later than July 18, 2025, at 10:00 AM local time. Late proposals, fax or electronic submittals will not be accepted. Any questions must be received in writing by Purchasing Agent Kim Hartman (khartman@co.buchanan.mo.us) by July 1, 2025, no later than 10:00 AM local time; responses will be provided by email to vendors of record by July 7, 2025. The County Commission of Buchanan County, Missouri, reserves the right to reject any or all responses, to accept the best response, and to make the award in the best interest of Buchanan County. In accordance with RSMo 34.042.2 (3), the proposals shall be opened in a manner to avoid disclosure of contents of competing vendors during the process of negotiation. Only the names of the submitting companies will be read.
