Henry, Harold R. 1935-2025 Hamilton, Mo.

HAMILTON, Mo. – Harold Richard Henry, 90, Hamilton, Missouri, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Harold was born on April 13, 1935, in Polo, Missouri, to Harold Clyde (Buster) Henry and Dorothy Ann McFall Henry.
Harold lived a life marked by kindness to strangers, dedication to his farm, and ability to share his stories. He was known for being straightforward, outgoing, and supportive of people in need.
Harold served in the U.S. Army from 1958-1960.
Harold was a farmer and livestock auctioneer in Hamilton, Missouri, where he made a lasting impact through his hard work and commitment. For the last 28 years he has made an additional career of collecting cast iron and building relationships in that community all over the country.
Harold is survived by his sister, Linda Prothero (Stanley), of Amarillo, Texas; and his children, Liz Luckett, of Sanger, California, Klaudia Henry Spivey, of Denver, Colorado, Kendall Henry (Nancy), of Lawrence, Kansas, Kevin Henry (Joan), of Cameron, Missouri, Steve Henry (Stephanie), of Hamilton; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Charles Franklin Henry, of Lee Summit, Missouri.
Harold will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his warmth, wisdom, and love will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
Visitation will be held at the Hamilton Federated Church from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, June 13, 2025. Funeral Service: 2 p.m., Saturday, June 14, 2025, at the Hamilton Federated Church. Interment: The Henry Family Cemetery, Hamilton. Memorial contributions may be made in Harold’s memory to the Children’s Mercy Hospital or to the Saint Luke’s Medical Center.
