Wright, Donn L. 1949-2025 Savannah, Mo.

SAVANNAH, Mo. – Donn L. Wright, 76, of Savannah, Missouri, passed away Thursday, May 15, 2025, surrounded by his family at home. He was born Feb. 3, 1949, in Maryville, Missouri, son of Vida and Dean Wright.

Donn attended Central High School. He married Sandra Clark on July 27, 1967, in St. Joseph. Donn worked as a mechanic for many years. He enjoyed working on cars and doing small engine repair. He was also an avid coin and stamp collector, and enjoyed spending time outdoors and with his grandchildren.

Donn was preceded in death by his parents; son, Paul Wright; and sister, Jann Williams.

Survivors include: his wife, Sandra Wright, of the home; children, Allen (Theresa) Wright, of Savannah, Jack (Kim) Wright, of Amazonia, Missouri, Karen (Darin) Fuller, of Savannah, and Donna (Matt) Patton, of Savannah; brother, Robb (Judy) Wright, of Fillmore, Missouri; grandchildren, Drew, Zach, Allison, Kaci, Jackson, Madison, Natalie, Hudson, and Evan; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Wright has been cremated under the care of Rupp Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 22, 2025, at Rupp Funeral Home. Memorials are requested to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
