Bosley, Viola M. 1935-2025 Blue Springs, Mo.

BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. – Viola Mae (Harris) Bosley, 89, formerly of St. Joseph, passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2025. She was born July 29, 1935, in Worth, Missouri, to Ralph and Maggie Harris. Viola was raised in Worth, and was a 1953 graduate of Grant City, Missouri, High School.

She married Elmer E. Bosley Jr. on May 18, 1957. Vi and Elmer remained married until his death in 2010.

Their daughter, Janet Pollard, preceded them in death.

Survivors include her grandson, Greg Pollard and wife, Jasmine, and their children, Kellan and Kaia, of Blue Springs, Missouri, and son-in-law Michael Pollard, formerly of Parkville, Missouri.

Natural Farewell under the direction of Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Mosaic Cancer Care Center or the St. Joseph Animal Shelter.
