Smith, Nancy W. 1952-2025 Troy, Kan.

TROY, Kan. – Nancy W. Harmon Smith, 72, of Troy, Kansas, passed away Friday, May 2, 2025, at her home. Nancy was born on Nov. 18, 1952, in Fairfax, Missouri, to Billy Jack and Laura (Ellison) Harmon.

Nancy married the love of her life, George Smith of Troy, on June 19, 1999. He survives of the home.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Additional survivors, children, Jamey Combs (Dana), Andrea Snapp (Steve), Christel Hedden (Dan), Stephanie Kaniper (Alan) and Carrie Brockman (Crispin); grandchildren, Laura (Chris), Chloe (Dillon), Jacob, Jacqueline, Scott (Brittany), Shannon (Steven), Tanner, Kyler (Stevie), Kamryn, Koltyn, Collin, Corina, Taylor, and Gage (Sierra); great-grandchildren, Amelia, “baby girl” Devoy, Kaysen, Drayton, Madalynn, and Eastynn.

Funeral Service: 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at the Harman-Rohde Funeral Home, in Troy. Visitation was 5 to 7 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home, where friends may call after noon Monday. Burial: Iola Cemetery, Sparks, Kansas. Memorials: Mosaic Life Care Cancer Care Fund.
