(Published in the St. Joseph News-Press Fri. 9/26/25) Request for Proposals for St. Joseph Transit Short Term Disability Insurance BID #RFP2026-06 The City of St. Joseph is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors to furnish Short Term Disability Insurance for the employees of St. Joseph-Mass Transit Division. Sealed proposals will be received electronically through the City of St. Joseph’s online bidding system at https://stjosephmo.ionwave.net/ until 3:00 P.M. on October 28, 2025. Special Needs: If you have special needs addressed by the Americans with Disabilities Act, please notify the Purchasing Agent at (816) 271-5330 at lease five (5) working days prior to the bid due date. Information relative to this procurement may be obtained on the City of St. Joseph’s online bidding system at https://stjosephmo.ionwave.net/. The City hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation. In addition, interested bidders will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, ancestry, or national origin in consideration for an award.
