Re-Roofing Projects
(Published in the St. Joseph News-Press Fri. 5/02/25, Fri. 5/09/25 and Fri. 5/16/25) ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS The Saint Joseph School District is soliciting sealed bids from qualified contractors for a comprehensive re-roofing project at Lindbergh and Eugene Field Elementary Schools. The project includes removal and replacement of both slate and flat roofing systems, flashing, ventilation, drainage components, and associated trim work. Scope of Work Includes: ● Full removal of existing slate roof and installation of: – Ice and water shield, synthetic underlayment – New intake and ridge vents – 50-year designer shingles – Dark bronze metal flashing, drip edge, coping, and gutters ● Removal and replacement or overlay of multiple flat roof sections, including: – Sopra board, Derbibase Ultra, and Derbicolor GP FR roofing – Flashing of walls and penetrations to manufacturer specifications – Installation of new wood blocking, coping caps, gutters, and downspouts – Proper disposal of all debris ● A 20-year manufacturer’s warranty covering materials and labor is required for all flat roof systems.
