Local figure skaters to perform for the community

The Griffon Gliders and St. Joseph Figure Skating Club are set to perform “Christmas Kisses and Candy Cane Wishes” at the Bode Ice Arena this weekend.

Performances will be at 6:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 13 and 14, and at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 15. Following the performances, there will be one hour of free skating.

The shows will feature the Griffon Gliders performing their competition routines along with more than 40 skaters showing off their skills in numbers set to holiday music.

Tickets are $10 until the day of the show and $12 at the door for those 12 and older. Children ages 11 and under can attend for free.
