HIGHLAND, Kan. – Thomas Eisenbarth, Precision Agriculture Instructor at Highland Community College’s Western Center in Baileyville, has been recognized by the Kansas Farm Bureau for his leadership and advocacy in promoting mental health awareness in rural communities.

Earlier this month, Eisenbarth was named the 2025 Rural Minds Matter Advocate of the Year, an honor that highlights his dedication to supporting the mental wellbeing of others throughout the state. He will formally receive the award during the Kansas Farm Bureau’s Young Farmers and Ranchers Conference, scheduled for Jan. 30 – Feb. 1, 2026.
