Always on the lookout for items of interest from communities in the region, an item from Nemaha caught my attention. The village of Nemaha (in Nemaha County, Nebraska) is part of the primary region served by the Corner Post. It turns out, however, that the story I found comes from Nemaha, Iowa (not in our primary service area), and it may be old news to some. But since this story is of the sort many of our readers enjoy, and most of you probably have not seen it, we wanted to share it with you.  

Though it’s a “Mighty Small Town,” Nemaha, Iowa gained attention nationally (and beyond) when a few locals decided to do something unique to celebrate the town’s centennial. Put unconventional, community-minded guys with tractors together, and the results are liable to be impressive or hilarious. In this case, they were both.
