DESCRIPTION: Athletic departments across the country are adding commercial sponsorship logos to their football fields after an NCAA rule change. Schools like Texas, Alabama, Penn State and LSU have all added corporate field logos, often placed at the 25-yard lines. Even smaller schools like Fresno State are doing it. All athletic programs are looking for new revenue since they are now allowed to share up to $20.5 million in revenue with athletes and provide millions in scholarships. Field logos are an easy source of income.
