TCU among the top women’s Big 12 teams all chasing a title with some high-profile transfers

SUMMARY: TCU is among a handful of Big 12 women’s basketball teams with title expectations that could depend heavily on whether some high-profile transfers produce. The reigning champions lost a core that included Hailey Van Lith to graduation, but Horned Frogs coach Mark Campbell filled one of the big holes with high-scoring guard Olivia Miles. Iowa State, Baylor and Oklahoma State are expected to be the biggest challengers to TCU, and all of them likewise landed highly touted transfers to supplement the players they had returning from last season.

FBN–Vikings Analysis

Vikings making bad habit of situational struggles, with red zone woes the latest to land on the list

SUMMARY: The Minnesota Vikings under coach Kevin O’Connell have focused and prided themselves on situational mastery from third downs to special teams to the red zone. They’re not consistently finding that success this season. The Vikings dropped to 3-3 after they scored only one touchdown in six trips inside the 20-yard line in a 28-22 loss to Philadelphia. They rank 22nd in the NFL with a 52% red-zone touchdown rate. Time to fix these issues is tight this week with a Thursday night road game looming against the Los Angeles Chargers.
