Missouri Western 38, Central Missouri 28

The Griffs snapped a three-game losing streak with a win over UCM, a team they had not beaten since 2021. It wasn’t totally smooth sailing for Western, as the Griffons trailed 14-3, but managed to find its rhythm offensively in order to take the lead and never give it back. Quarterback Branden Berwald tallied nearly 500 yards from scrimmage with 379 yards passing and 93 yards rushing.

Central Oklahoma 48, Northwest Missouri State 20

The momentum built by Northwest over the last few weeks came to halt at the hands of No. 13 Central Oklahoma. The Bearcats were left with no answers to the Bronchos’ passing attack. UCO quarterback Jett Huff had himself a day through the air with 451 yards and three passing touchdowns.
