This morning, there is a slight chance for light rain. It will be a warm and breezy day overall, with wind gusts reaching up to 18 mph and afternoon temperatures climbing into the low to mid-80s.

Two rounds of possible severe thunderstorms are expected in our area. The first round may develop this afternoon, bringing scattered storms that could become severe. Large hail and damaging winds will be the primary hazards, though an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out.

The second round is expected later tonight and will likely be more widespread. If these storms turn severe, they could produce damaging winds and heavy rainfall, leading to flash flooding or river flooding in some areas.

By tomorrow morning, showers and possible thunderstorms will continue before tapering off by the evening. It will remain warm and breezy, with afternoon highs in the low 80s.

Starting Thursday, expect plenty of sunshine and hot temperatures that will last into the weekend.
