CAMERON, Mo. – Kenneth Allen Sloan, 74, passed away March 9, 2024.

Kenny was born Nov. 1, 1949, to Harold and Laura (Harper) Sloan and raised in Turney, Missouri. He was a 1968 graduate of Osborn High School.

Kenny spent most of his life as “just a farm boy” as he always said. He loved “red” tractors, farming with his dad’s team of mules and giving the kids hay rides when the work was done. Kenny shared many stories about his time farming with those mules and the ‘ole tractor.

Kenny enjoyed kids, and even though he had none of his own, he enjoyed his nieces and nephews. Kenny was well known in the community. He never knew a stranger. He always had time to visit and see how you were doing. He loved getting together with his buddies for breakfast to catch up on the latest news.

Kenny will be missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Laura; sister, Joyce Brandon; sister-in-law, Bobbi Sloan (wife of Jack Sloan).

Kenny is survived by his siblings, Loren and Sharon Sloan, Osborn, Missouri, Jack Sloan, Colorado Springs, Colorado, Faye Crockett, Osborn, Ival and Lois Snow, Osborn, Jim and Pam Sloan, Gladstone, Missouri, Sherry Sloan, Everett, Washington; nieces and nephews.

As per Kenny’s wishes, there will be no services. For online condolences, visit www.polandthompson.com.
